Lorna Scobie book And Agatha Christie novel

I purchased Lorna Scobie's 365 Days Of Drawing Sketch and paint your way through the creative year. I'm liking it, however some spaces are small perhaps too small to draw into them. I don't feel like getting a sketchbook just for that purpose :,( , I have a lot of them already that need to be filled.  I hope to be patient enough to complete the prompt that I find intriguing and the others can be worked on later. I say patient because  I have anxiety and depression also I try not to push myself overboard.

I am also reading a new novel that I started yesterday night. Agatha Christie in French, this time named "Le Crime De L'Orient-Express'' it has 333 pages and 9 chapters. This one should be fun and interesting😐.

Self-Help book for self-esteem and Affirmations

So I haven't read a self-help book for a little while now. I took a Self-Esteem course to help me with different aspects of my life. Gratitude journaling is also  beneficial and counter- acting your inner critic. It takes a lot of practice to tell your inner critic to shut up!

Anyways I'm also working on positive affirmations and self-compassion. That's not even close to being easy neither. Tonight I'm doodling and enjoying it. I have a UTI so I'm chilling. I am getting tired fast too so is it the thyroid going out of whack or the antibiotics working? Not sure yet. I still pee a lot but not every minute like before the UTI started. So now got to go.

Reads, for this summer? most like like!

I've been reading a novel and I can't make anything of it . I don't even know what the plot is:( The story? I've got no ideas where it's headed?? and the characters are ambiguous. Now am I going to continue reading it..most likely because I committed myself to reading one French novel a month or more; it really depends. If I can't engage myself there's no point in persuing this any longer.  I need to feel that I am getting the story from the get-go.  This is all I have to say really. Nothing exciting is happening in my life.

New reads for 2022? Young Adult novels plus self-help

What would I like to read for 2022?? According to Great Reads I have three novels to read with the Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld. Search results for "Scott West" (showing 1-20 of 1068 books) | Goodreads

With Lisi Harrison, I only read one Clique series novel. I like to read but right now it ain't freaking getting in >:(  It is frustrating me a lot; ever since the first stupid lockdown when I dissociated I felt like I had come out of my body I was just existing that's it. This is something I can discuss in another blog but not sure if I will. It's very personal and frightening for me.

New Novel by Joyce Meyer: There's a new novel by Joyce Meyer out on the stands, it is expensive though. I got to be sure to read it if I'm going to buy it :S.https://a.co/az4QtTB. This is just talk right now. not sure if things are gonna pan out.

My Bible or the ''Word''

My bible is another book I find helpful to read. It calms me right down when I'm overwhelmed. That's all I don't have the attention span I had to read a damn brick. My reading and comprehension are low as well so there!! I wasn't very good in school for reading and understanding what I read often. My grade twelve teacher was the pits! or a horse's ass. Maybe it'll come back my concentration or attention span

Book: Self-Esteem Workbook Glenn Shiraldi PhD

This is the self-help book I am currently reading through, slowly. I am hoping It'll put hope back into me. This COVID-19 has fucked me up totally. the very first Lockdown aka Shutdown; I shut down totally. That was traumatizing enough for me. But anyways...Even tangling was gone. It's like my memory was wiped clean or I got tangling or doodling amnesia.  That too was traumatizing for me. So people who say mental illness is nothing??...WAKE THE F&*K UP!! I am finding it very helpful at the moment. So right novels don't interest me. I have low or no concentration or the attention span is not there for a novel.
